Artist's Statement
I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree concentrating in painting from Auburn University. In my life, I have experienced wonderful opportunities in viewing other great artists. I have traveled throughout the United Kingdom, Europe, the islands of Hawaii, and several islands of the Caribbean. I feel blessed to have seen works that are within the Louvre Museum, the breathtaking works of Antonio Gaudi, to have visited medieval castles, ancient architecture, and amazed to have seen masterpieces from the great masters of famous painters to the local artist of all regions. All that I have seen has influenced me, but I am grateful that I can still be self-expressive in my own works.
I am living my life long dream. I have dreamed big and worked hard. I love to express my passion for art by working with all types of medium. I can remember as a child loving to draw, paint, and do collage. With age, I still love the same plus photography, refinishing furniture and creating mosaic wonders. I search daily for the perfect landscape, sunset, or even musical notes for inspiration. I enjoy painting landscapes and abstract images, exploring textures, and the challenge of producing what my words cannot express. I hope that with my work, the art visualized may have an impact on your imagination and leave an impression on your heart and mind as the gift of art has had on me.
I would like to thank the support from my loved ones, my family, and most of all the patience from my husband while creating my own personal works of art.
